It starts by making a claim that McCain doesn’t understand the fundamentals of the economy

But then diverts attention from the economy to how many houses McCain owns

Item 2:

 Noisy children are a real headache

An aspirin will make a headache go away

Therefore, an aspirin will make noisy children go away

  

* Fallacies of presumption: Hasty generalization: What’s true for a member is true for the whole group (false premise)

* Analyze the structure: arguing backwards it all

* Analyze the fallacy:

If I don’t reject proposals, there’s nothing for me to do

(insufficient to conclude that) ==> I’ll get fired

(insufficient to conclude that) ==> I could starve to death
